What is a database?

The records are usually organized by search terms that allow users to see a list of articles or websites related to the term entered. Find It VA is primarily a periodical or document database. Netlibrary consists of electronic or e-books. The texts of published books may be read online or checked out by patrons once they have established a Netlibrary account within the library. Heritage Quest Online is a genealogical databases containing various census records and family research links. Library of Virginia features dozens of links to reliable and informative websites on topics ranging from auto repair tips, the Code of Virginia,
and library contact links to business and governmental statistics and consumer guides.
